Living the dream

Smoking a cigarette. The great taste of menthol tickles my throat in a nice way. I’m slowly opening the curtains and starting to look away, far, far away. Nothing interesting. A big world, full of people just like me, in search of sunrise*. Just a part

I had a dream last night. In my dream, we were somewhere…somewhere nice. We were surrounded by so many people. I couldn’t hear what they were talking about, and to be fair, it doesn’t even matter. I’m there, you’re there. Us two, too many people, and some spirits. I’m not Russian. I promise you, my baby. I’m not. I couldn’t be anyway. But I’m from eastern Europe. Why do you ask? Dreamcatcher

In Ojibwa (Chippewa) culture, a dreamcatcher (or dream catcher; Ojibwe asabikeshiinh, the inanimate form of the word for “spider” or bawaajige nagwaagan meaning “dream snare”) is a handmade object based on a willow hoop, on which is woven a loose net or web.
